During the school year, students have successfully completed the curriculum, applying all four reading, writing, speaking, and listening strands. To help our students to improve and enhance their oral communication skills, we are offering French courses for interested Elementary students entering Grades 3 – 8 during the summer break.
Our French courses are organized by level and will help students improve both their spoken and written French. The methods which will be used for the program are aligned with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for languages) framework and will prepare students for international diplomas from DELF Prime, an official Diploma of French Language Studies issued by the French Ministry of Education. DELF is recognized worldwide.
To facilitate the interaction between students and Ms. Nas, group courses will be organized in small groups, with a maximum of 5 participants in online classes via Zoom. The courses are 10 hours per month during the months of July and August. Sessions are either 2 x 90 minutes or 3 x 60 minutes per week depending on the level of the students.
The July session begins on July 5th and runs until July 27th. August sessions commence on August 2nd and run until August 24th. Times and dates will be coordinated with Ms. Nas upon registration.
$350.00 for each 10-hour session plus an additional fee of $30.00 for the accompanying workbook. Each session will require a different workbook.
If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Nas directly at [email protected]. Once your registration has been confirmed by Ms. Nas, payment can be provided to Ms. Litchmanova at [email protected] by electronic funds transfer or cheque.
